Easter Dresses

Dress: Anthropologie

Hi! Christine here! Spring and Easter has to be one of my favorite times of the year with all of the pastels and florals! It makes me so happy. I wanted to gather up some great Easter dress options! There are three panels below- one true maternity, one non-maternity but I think will fit a bump and then non-maternity that I was wishing would fit me right now but that's just not gonna happen.

Fun fact about this dress- I actually wore it to work yesterday but it inspired me for this post because I definitely put it on my Easter options. (Total disclaimer: I wore flats to work- heels only come out for special occasion (or apparently photos) these days.) It's not maternity but I think it will really fit the bump the entire time! I love that it makes me feel good and comfortable but also but together as this bump continues to grow! I can't find the exact one online but here are some similar options! (Here and here

Did you find a great spring outfit?! Please share in the comments below!

Easter Weekend

Happy Easter every bunny!

Maddie, here! We just got home from celebrating another holiday together in Tarpon Springs, FL, except this time, my friends got to come along! One 13 hour 47 minute drive later, we were living it up under the sunshine and we only got lost in the Gulf on our paddle boards once. After our first day in the sun, I was complaining about a headache and I accidentally said, "I have a headache from squinting at the sun and laughing too hard." Wow, Maddie, what a hard life you lead. It became the quote of the week, to say the least.

I have always thought it would be hilarious to have a best friend photo shoot. When your sister is a professional, you kinda get spoiled (Thank you, Christine). She did an awesome job capturing our favorite moments of the weekend, including our dance-session on the island (4 of us are in the same "Dance Sport" class at Xavier, so we got some practice in for our big recital).

Some other favorite moments of the weekend:

  • Many ping-pong matches - reigning champion, Olivia Hurst
  • Shafer's baseball game and Thomas' track meet - Shafer has a walk-on song that made us all laugh. Thomas ran the 4x400 for the first time and his team placed! We couldn't make it to the meet, so dad facetimed us in. We were all screaming and cheering for him from the car, it was hilarious. Dad made my friends run with Thomas to the beach for some practice, classic.
  • S'mores and campfire, during which Ryan entertained us with his icebreaker questions
  • Getting caught in the current on our paddle boards and having to swim them home... Abby and I made a great team.
  • Helping mom cook Easter dinner, and spearing Peeps in the process, with Abby commentating in the background lol

Thanks for viewing!

Just Another Sister,

Tuesday Shoesday: Soludos

~ Shoes: Soludos   //  C dress: Banana Republic   ~

So this post is long overdue but Torey and I got these Soludos flats last summer in a giveaway and I seriously love them! After we received these, I immediately went and bought the wedges and wore them to my rehearsal dinner. I find them sooo comfortable- though I will tell you that I have really narrow heels so blisters are a serious problem for me so I often wear Compeed Blister Cushions just in case and they are a game changer!

I think spring is my favorite season- it's just a complete 180 from winter attire (even in Florida believe it or not) and the bright colors and sandals come out to play! I'm debating between these this pair and this pair of sandals for my spring wardrobe though how cute are these pom poms??

What's your favorite part about spring?!
