Waimea Valley + VLOG

~ Jean shorts: Lucky (I'm seriously obsessed and I wore them almost every day in Hawaii)  //  Swimsuit: Swim n' Sport (top/bottom) (I also found it here and here  and a one piece!~

Ry and I were so proud of ourselves when we found Waimea Valley! This was our spontaneous portion of the trip. We were trying to kill time before dinner in North Shore and came across the valley and said why not? So we hiked - literally it looks like Jurassic Park- and then jumped in the water fall! It was decently cold (#floridaproblems) but swam and touched the waterfall and then immediately got out!

Ry and I are desperately now obsessed with hiking so if you any one has any recommendations really anywhere in Florida- yes, I know what I'm asking, FL is very flat but it's worth a shot- we're all for it!

As for the video below, Ry and I have decided while it is more work and you have to consciously get video footage everywhere you go (we didn't succeed this trip but we got better!) that we want to make a little mini vlog for every big trip we go on. We've already watched it four times and it's just such a nice way to relive your trip. PS any vlog/editing/video tips you guys have feel free to pass them along!

Pill Box Hike + Final Morning

~ Floral Top: J. Crew (old, similar here and love this one)  //  Jean Shorts: Lucky Brand (but different Lucky ones this time!)  //  Sunglasses: Tory Burch (similar here)  ~

As the Hawaii posts come to a close (finally I know- but also there's one more because I can't help myself) I just can't believe the amazing vacation that Ry and I were lucky enough to have. The first group of photos are from our Pillbox Hike and it was amazing! It was like a true hike on the other side of the island (east of Honolulu) and it was something that we discovered kind of by chance and I'm so glad we did. It was so fun!

The second set of photos, we were on our way to our last breakfast (getting an acai bowl duh) and a woman noticed Ry was taking photos of me and asked if we wanted some together. Turns out, she was also a photographer! She was seriously amazing- she was having us pose, Ry pick me up and truly treated us like a 45 second photo shoot! While these photos aren't on some crazy excursion, I absolutely love that we actually have some non-selfies of both of us! So to this woman who stopped, thank you thank you!

Sunset Cruise

~ Off-the-shoulder: Pleione (sold out but similar here, here and here)  // Jean shorts: Lucky (I wasn't kidding when I said I wore them practically every day)

One of the excursions Ry and I did was a sunset cruise and it was amazing! It was kind overcast and cloudy but honestly it made everything look soo cool. They had great drinks and apps on and we just sat out on the bow enjoying our paradise (and partially crying that our trip was soon coming to a close). We even saw dolphins! They might me by favorite sea animal.

I highly recommend doing this! This cruise is the same one that you can go whale watching on but we weren't in the season for that.

Also, for this shirt- I love the look of an off-the-shoulder but does anyone else find them inconvenient?! Help a girl out- don't get me wrong, I'm willing to sacrifice for the cuteness of it and I really do love this top, but I just feel like I have to know that I won't really be able to use my arms?

Anywaaayyy, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
