I'm usually the first one to complain about still being a student while all my friends have real people jobs, but I have to say it has its perks, like student discounts and scheduled vacation days. My roommates and I took advantage of the long weekend for MLK day and headed to Bryson City, the tiniest of towns nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. The town has lots to offer, including a brewery, winery, and some great food! We, however, spent most of our time cozied up in our cabin. (and can you blame us with this view??)
We took to the trails on Sunday (much to Andrea's amusement) in search of some waterfalls (insert famous TLC song here) and took an embarrassing amount of selfies in the process.
A cozy cabin, hot chocolate in rocking chairs, mountain views from the hot tub, s'mores around the fire, hiking to waterfalls, game night- these were a few of my favorite things. I give this vacation 5 stars.
