Over Labor Day weekend, Ryan and I are taking a mini-moon (kind of) to Europe! Ryan's cousin Jason is getting married in London on Sept. 5th and Ryan got asked to be in the wedding so we figured we would treat the trip like our honeymoon and travel a little bit outside of London as well.
So here's to being young because we are doing three cities in four days. Our itinerary is:
Sept. 2nd: Leave from Miami and fly into Dublin
Sept. 3rd @ 6:30am: Arrive in Dublin - spend all day in Dublin (scheduled tours at the Guinness Factory and Kilmainham Gaol). We are staying at the K Club and I could not be more excited! It's literally a castle :)
Sept. 4th: Fly from Dublin to London- arrive around 12:45 and let the wedding festivities begin!
Sept. 5th: Wedding!
Sept. 6th: Take the train from London to Paris and spend the day there. We have mapped out a walking route to make sure we hit all of our favorite places including, the Louvre (just walking by it), Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and of course, the Eiffel Tour.
Sept. 7th: Fly home :(
So wish us luck! The goal is also to be packed into only carry-ons which, not gonna lie, if I can do it I'm rewarding myself with a cookie because 1) I'm the epitome of an over packer 2) the weather is predicting it to be a little cooler (reminder: I think 60 degrees is winter) 3) we are being both tourists guests of a wedding.
Below is a little round up of what's going to be in our suitcases. This BHLDN dress that I'm wearing to the wedding I'm legit obsessed with (different pattern here)- I stalked it for months waiting for it to go on sale and I got it for $60!!! I also just got these leggings because I have a little bit of hip issues when I sit for too long so comfortable pants for long days of traveling are an absolute necessity. (I know, I'm 100 years old.)
Ryan and I decided we're enjoying the TINK years (Two incomes, no kids) so naturally instead of saving for Europe, we went out and bought comfortable/stylish shoes to wear (as if we didn't have options in our closet already). I got these Cole Haan loafers that are amazing. They came from the outlet so they're under $100! Also, how fun are these striped ones? Ry got these- he's becoming so preppy and I love it! His are also under $100 (double thumbs up emoji!). You can also get his here :)
What are your favorite things to do in these three cities? What restaurants do we absolutely have to try? Tips for us not to look like total tourists? Please let us know!
Make sure to come back and check for all the traveling updates!
