I know it's not the end of the year yet but to say 2016 has been a big year so far is an understatement. Of course, Ryan and I got married but career wise it just has completely done a 180- in a good way! In hopes of eliminating the possibility of me ranting for years, I'd figure you give a list of life updates :)

  1. For the last year and a half, I was working at an email marketing agency (yes, kinda like spam emails but hey, I was 22 and needed money and a job and had a fiance with a ruptured achilles) and while I loved the people that I worked with, it was time for a change. Almost a month ago, I started at Palm Beach Atlantic University- a small private Christian university down here- working in their marketing department and I'm already obsessed. Everybody is so nice and I get to work on creative projects and I've truly missed being in the university setting so win, win, win there :)
  2. On the photography front, I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am for the people I have met and the things they have done for me. They keep spreading the word and let me tell you, Christmas Card season is a thing and as cheesy as it sounds, when you're doing what you love, it truly doesn't feel like work. Plus, adorable children in Santa hats are involved (see for yourself on my blog ) so really, I definitely can't complain :)
  3. On that same note, my dream of breaking into weddings is finally coming true! A friend of high school reached out to me and after some talk of logistics, I have been hired as her wedding photographer! Side note- Ry is also officially in training hence this portrait session on the beach (major thumbs up). I'm so excited and so grateful to be able to do this!

Thank you all for stopping by and letting me rant about life. Ry and I are headed to his parents' house for Thanksgiving and not only will four out of the five sisters (don't worry, Rylee, Tim and Gemma are getting Facetimed in the entire time) but my family will be there also so I'm so excited! I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

The Out-Law,

Christine
